Rachel Loerts

Rachel Loerts graduated at the top of her class from the University of Windsor’s Bachelor of Music program in classical voice with a minor in Italian language. She has performed as a solo artist and as a part of various ensembles at many community venues and events in Windsor Ontario and across the region. She has worked and performed with the Arts Council Windsor & Region, Canadian Federation of University Women, University of Michigan’s Peony Blossoms and Pure Melodies, Amherstburg Farmers Market and more. As a member of the UWindsor Chamber Choir, Rachel performed with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, participated in several school tours across southwestern Ontario, and attended the Ontario Music Educators Association Conference in 2016. In 2016 she organized an afternoon of arts programming for the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association’s Afternoons in the Alley where she also performed as part of Rachel and Rob Duet. Rachel was a founding member of Vanguard: Windsor-Essex Youth Arts Collective where she worked with other arts-oriented youth in Windsor to bring arts programming and opportunities to the community. Later, she served as their second secretary. Rachel has taught for Montessori Mozarts, Long & McQuade and other music lesson providers in Windsor, before relocating to London, Ontario.

Rob Haynes

Rob Haynes has a Bachelor’s of Music specializing in Jazz/Pop Guitar from the University of Windsor, and a Master’s of Arts in Music Theory from the University of Western Ontario. He can teach in a variety of musical styles including (but not limited to) Classical, Folk, Jazz, Metal and Rock, and believes that all music is worthy of study. Rob can play the guitar solo to Megadeth’s Tornado of Souls, as well as most of Van Halen’s Eruption.
