Biography
Rachel Loerts is a mezzo-soprano known for her powerful voice. She has performed as a solo vocalist in solo recitals and with small ensembles, and has sung with various choirs and opera choruses. A lover of collaboration, she has performed in many genres including art song, opera, pop, and jazz.
In addition to performing, Rachel enjoys teaching voice, piano, guitar and ukulele. She is a songwriter and arranger and enjoys helping her students write songs. Rachel's interests include being active, reading, and her cat. From Wyoming Ontario, Rachel received her Bachelor of Music [Honours] Degree from the University of Windsor. Currently, she resides in London Ontario and is pursuing her Artist Diploma in Voice at the University of Western Ontario's Don Wright Faculty of Music under the tutlege of Rachel Mallon. |
